  Tony Benger - With a background and qualifications in agriculture and horticulture, Tony started the business 25 years ago as a development from the family enterprise at Burrow Farm Gardens. As managing Director, Tony is the driving force behind the success of the business and is still actively involved with every aspect of the company’s operations. Tony’s depth of experience and knowledge provides invaluable support to his team of Contract Managers and administrative staff to ensure the company achieves high quality work and operates best horticultural practice. Still finding time to project manage both commercial and residential projects, Tony is a regular visitor to work sites and customers.

  Carl Coman - Carl achieved his National Certificate in Landscape & Horticulture at Merrist Wood College, Surrey in 2001 and successfully ran his own landscaping company in the South East before moving to Devon. He joined Tony Benger Landscaping in 1995 as a team leader, working locally on residential garden projects and was promoted to Contracts Manager in 2008. Carl takes responsibility for project managing domestic/residential work and commercial contracts. With excellent plant knowledge and construction skills, Carl also manages the company’s staff training and development programme.

  Dan Vincent - Dan has 14 years experience in landscaping and horticulture, with the last eleven years at Tony Benger Landscaping. He has achieved promotion through merit, having worked on every type of landscape construction and maintenance project with the company. Commencing as a landscape worker, then team leader, he was selected for the new post of Contract Manager principally with responsibility for large domestic construction projects, although contributing to the general day to day running of the company. Dan is an experienced people manager with an excellent track record for good customer relations, an eye for quality control, excellent project management skills and good organisational ability.
  
  

• Julian Stanley - With a background in SME management, Julian joined the company in 2003 to assist Tony in two roles: firstly with the administration and management of the business, including development, planning and day to day operations; secondly as Estimator and Contract Manager for commercial landscape contracting. As the company has developed, Julian has remained mainly office based and taken on the growing roles of personnel, facilities, office and ICT management in addition to running most of the company’s larger commercial projects.

  Liz Snell - Liz has just joined the team and manages our accounts, pay, VAT and various admin processes on a part time basis. She is available on the telephone on Tuesdays and Thursdays if you need to ask about anything to do with accounts
